Maybe it will work for those who can relate to the two characters but for the rest, this one is no music to the ears. I felt like responding like Vadivelu to the title of the film, "You stand man, Why me?".Īn earnest Surya and some good music are the primary takeaways from this film.

In another instance Pragaya says "Yes!!!" as a sign of being excited and the subtitles read "Aama". In another scene Kamal says "Come on" as a retort and the subtitles read "Vaa". He says, "Let's do the 'Oh' Now" and the subtitles read "Ippo oru 'O' seyyalam". She was brought up by Nammazhvar another great saint and fell deeply in love with Lord Ranganatha. In this portion she tells her friends about her dream in which she.You can read it in Tamil with Tamil meaning in.You can hear it sung in.Spread grass all round the fire, offered dry holy sticks to it. It was irritating (because the font size is too big to ignore) at first but after a while it turned out to be more entertaining than what is happening on screen.

But this one with predominantly English conversations has Tamil subtitles right through. I don't know yet if the other segments of Navarasa too have Tamil subtitles for dialogues from other languages. It is not that two people in love will not act crazy or use cheesy pick up lines but it is just that the interaction here feels artificial. The age difference between the two characters is the only interesting aspect of the film but even that becomes futile as both characters don't seem to behave their age. Don't blame me if Shiva from Chennai 6000028 comes to mind. Again, like its title, this is a film that tries to be poetic but what we get feels like those poems written by an eager teenager with raging hormones. And this is exactly how Guitar Kambi Mele Nindru turned out for me. Having a film built around conversations is obviously going to be difficult and if the audience cannot get into the headspace of the two characters, it is going to be one dreary affair. Unfortunately whatever that happens between Kamal (an earnest Surya) and Nethra (Prayaga) is anything but interesting. But in a film, that bond needs to be relatable and if not, atleast engaging or intriguing for the audience. It is futile to pass a judgement on a bond that is shared between two individuals. Love between two people need not and maybe cannot be understood by others. What if the train episode from Vaaranam Aayiram was made into a short? GVM tries to do something like that in this short about 'Love'. GVM's film, like its title, actually rests on a very thin line of a plot, if at all it can be called that. Till then have a peek at the pictures taken at the event.Navarasa - Guitar Kambi Mele Nindru - Review will bring you the video coverage of this exciting evening very soon. The high point of the evening was when Suriya hummed a few lines of an old Tamil number and even repeated the famous dialogue from Vaaranam Aayiram, "Hi Malini." Except that Suriya dedicated the words to his beloved wife Jyotika and started with "Hi Jo." The audience went completely ecstatic by this impromptu performance. The audience got to see the man behind the actor. The whole evening was a very interesting one as Suriya shared anecdotes about not only Vaaranam Aayiram and his movies, but also about his personal life. The winner of the contest got a guitar autographed by the actor. His interaction with each of the participants was absolutely wonderful, as he asked them questions and patiently and openly answered theirs. The participants sang songs only from Vaaranam Aayiram and Suriya was mouthing each and every word of the songs. Dressed in blue jeans and a printed blue kurta, Suriya enjoyed every single moment of the evening. malayalam movie dialogues, malayalam film comdey dialogues, malayalam cinema funny dialogues, mohanlal comedy, salim kumar comedy, malayalam dialogues. Organised at GRT Convention Centre, the evening was one of the most memorable musical evenings. Out of these were selected 13 lucky ones who got the opportunity to sing in front of Suriya today. Over 300 singers both amateur and trained, participated in 'Suriyakaga Oru Song' contest.
